The Langenwanger Au is a place I've been visiting regularly for years to spend time with the animals by the water. Some of my first bird photographs were taken there, and I've lost count of how many hours I've spent sitting quietly by the river, observing the fauna. With and without a camera.

Because the place is important to me, because I want to document who is there and because I hope that I can spread awareness about our contemporaries in animal form, I have started to create brochures that show how diverse life can be in this small meadow.
